On Feb. 5, 1974 Henry Combs, 74, of the Town Branch community of Lewis County, died suddenly at 3 a.m. yesterday at his home following a heart seizure. Although he had not been well for sometime as the result of his heart and emphysema, his death was unexpected. An employee of the Crane and Breed Casket Co., Cincinnati, he had lived in Lewis County for 14 years. He was born in Madison County, KY., on Sept. 4, 1899, a son of the late Tarlton and Leni Stewart Combs. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Catherine Keiper, of Columbia, Pa., and Mrs. Nora Cook, of Louisville, and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Case, of Danville, KY., and Mrs. Flora Anderson, of Stanford, KY., and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday at the Dickerson Funeral Home, Vanceburg. Burial will be in Lewis County Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 P.M. Thursday.
